Mrs. Marilyn Blankenship of Lethbridge, beloved wife of Mr. John Blankenship, passed away suddenly on Friday, June 23 at the age of 77 years.

Marilyn loved the Royal Family, listening to country music, watching musicals, and in high school she was in the musical Macado. One of her favorite places was Las Vegas, and she also enjoyed traveling to Great Falls. Marilyn was so giving and always wanted to help others.
Besides her loving husband John, Marilyn will be missed by her 3 children Allen, Greg and Linda (Lindsay); grandchildren Andrew, Sebastian, Shantelle and Alisha; and great-grandchildren; as well as her brother Garry (Doris) Hogg.
Marilyn was predeceased by her sister Joyce Langlois, her parents Evelyn and Bill;.
She was a Wife, Mother, Grandma, Great-Grandma, Auntie and Friend.
It was Marilyn’s wish to be cremated and taken back home to Heffley Creek, BC, to be with her Mom and Dad. A Private Family Service will be held. Cremation entrusted to Martin Brothers Funeral Services.
Thank you to the Paramedics, Fire Department, and the Police Officers and Victim Services for everything they did. A special thank you to our very dear friends Laureen Palmer and Lorrie Schlemme for being there for everyone.
