Miss Terri Anne Louise Gergely
1972 ~ 2017
Miss Terri Anne Gergely, of Coaldale, passed away suddenly at her parent’s farm on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at the age of 44 years.
Terri was born in Lethbridge on December 29, 1972 on her Father’s birthday, and she grew up as a middle child on the family farm.
Terri loved life in all forms and if there was a stray critter, chances are it would go home with her. Her home was a place of last resort for many critters small or large and she welcomed them with open arms. Terri was a member of the Beef and Equestrian 4-H, earning her Platinum award of Excellence. She trained, bred and competed in various equine events for 30 years. She loved to read, watch movies, and spend time with her friends and family, especially her nieces and nephew. Terri had dreams to travel to the UK, France, Australia and New Zealand. She also wanted to see a launch from the Cape Canaveral.
Besides her loving parents Ted and Joyce Gergely, Terri is survived by her sister Carri (Andy) Carroll and their children Allyson, Chelsea and Ethan Carroll; brother Kevin (Suzanne) Gergely; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Terri was predeceased by her grandparents John and Mary Gergely, and Roy and Kate Lacey.
“Terri…44 years was not long enough to enjoy your spirit and smile, you will be missed by many.”
