Allen William Skedden

Allen William Skedden

July 3, 1964 - March 2, 2017

In the Autumn of his life, beloved brother friend and son, Allen William Skedden (Rocky) age 52, has  passed away suddenly.

Originally from Hamilton, Ontario, Allen relocated to Delta British Columbia and was enjoying the company of his girlfriend, and living the quiet home life he always longed for. Throughout his life Allen had many adventures, touched many lives and was loved far more than he himself could imagine. The enduring bonds created with his many brothers and sisters ensures that he will be fondly remembered missed and honoured, for his character, overflowing heart and solid loyalty.

He is now in the company of his father, Allen Robert Skedden (deceased March 10, 2010).

He leaves behind his birth Mother, Bernice Evelyn Cook (Carr), his step mother Lucy Tychansky, siblings - Tammy Foster, Crystal Tucker, Raymond Skedden, Ken Carr and Pam Gulley, as well as twelve nieces nephews and four great nieces and nephews, spanning the country from Nova Scotia through Ontario to Alberta.

Along with Allen’s immediate family he was proud to share Kinship with the Tesluk brotherhood of Hamilton, Ontario, a large group of people who, through the love of very special Foster Parents, (Barbara and Walter Tesluk - deceased), built a lifelong bond with each other. This group of people too numerous to name all, includes brothers and sisters from every corner of the world. Of special mention and dearest to Allen’s heart are the families of Jason Tesluk ,Talbot Tesluk (Tabby dec.),Michael Tesluk , Timm Litt, Stevie Johnson (dec.), Walter Machel, Kelly Cleland, Don Naylor, Fred Mulcaster, Jeff Black and Davota Steeves.

These kin, and many more, referred to Allen as brother, uncle and friend. It is with the heaviest of hearts and through the deepest sadness that we all wish Allen safe travels, and send him on his way with the wind of our love to lift his wings high.

Allen is to be cremated on Thursday March 16, 2017. His cremation will be held in Hope, British Columbia, so that his spirit can fly high over the beautiful mountains that he loved so much.

There will be a small remembrance gathering in British Columbia held on Sunday April 2, 2017 at the residence of his brother Kelly Cleland.

To accommodate his many loved ones, a Celebration of Allen’s Life is being arranged, and will be held in Hamilton, Ontario this coming summer. Details of which will be posted on his Facebook remembrance page.
